Mike Sturla Pens LNP Op-Ed on Abortion Rights

In his July 17 Op-Ed, State Representative Mike Sturla draws attention to the efforts of Republican state lawmakers to set the stage for banning abortion in Pennsylvania by amending the state constitution. The proposed amendment would state that the Pennsylvania Constitution does not grant the right to any right related to abortion. With this amendment in place, Republican lawmakers would be in a position to ban abortion as they see fit without having to worry about the rulings of state courts.
