Our Recent History
In 2023, DEMOCRATS WON ALL THE SEATS ON THE SLATE! Our candidates took all 5 seats on the Manheim Township School Board, 2 seats on the Board of Commissioners, and won FOR THE FIRST TIME the district magistrate seat.
In 2022, we elected Gov. Josh Shapiro and Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, U.S. Senator John Fetterman, and Rep. Mike Sturla.
In 2020, President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris won Manheim Township by more than 1700 votes.

How we’re organized…
The Committee
The Manheim Township Democratic Committee (MTDC) is a sub-committee of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee (LCDC). As a sub-committee, it participates in the LCDC candidate endorsement process. The MTDC is made up of Democrats from the neighborhoods of Manheim Township.
The Club
The Manheim Township Democratic Club is a combination of the committee members and hundreds of volunteers who meet monthly and provide help with canvassing and greeting voters at the polls. Together the committee and club’s task is to inform and encourage voters in Manheim Township and, in this way, to enliven our democracy and sustain our community.
